Here is a link to the SC trail site which shows a few trails which run our route from Six Mile to Clemson. This will also be a great site for other groups.

That looks like a pretty descent trail. Robert did you want to try and get a video of what the trail this weekend, by hooking up your camera to my bike. Then we all could map out the general area at the same time, as well as take some pictures.

I was also thinking that the blog would look pretty cool if we added a video of the current trails to the side, which I figured out how to do. All we need now is the video

I like the idea of adding a video. Looking at the map on this link, I think I know some of these trails already. A lot of them are essentially dirt roads, and they shouldn't be too hard of a ride or too difficult to get access to. However, take note that there is a creek crossing on "Issaqueena Main Rd." close to where "Dalton Rd." forks off. So, if you're going to scout out in a car, make sure to take something that you won't mind fording a 2-3 foot deep creek in (I've seen a Honda Civic make it pretty easily). I'd like to help out on the video if it's a multi-man job.

I was planning on a leisure-type bike ride. Then I was going for a three mile or so jog on the same trails afterwards. So more likely it's not a multi-person task, but you're welcome to join us if you want. The main points I want to take away from the trip are; what conditions are the trails in (which the video would help show), are they something that people would use with today's level of infrastructure, do they have a nice view, and overall are the fun? I would recommend coming if you could, just because it would give you, as well as myself, a better understanding of the area

Let me know on the Facebook thread when and where it's happening. I've potentially been conscripted into a volunteer thing this Saturday, but let me know and I'll see how it lines up with what we're doing.

I will try and get the camera by this weekend, I let a friend borrow it for a race and I am supposed to get it back friday. I will let you know and we can head to the trail.
